The transformation in my life was so great and so apparent that I immersed myself in the
practice of Kundalini
Yoga as taught by Yogi Bajhan (3HO). I delved into the teachings of Kabbalah, Kundalini yoga, meditation, chanting, Harmonyum healing, palmistry and numerology. Became certified in 1998 as a Kundalini Yoga Teacher (3HO). I started teaching right away as recommended by my instructor Ravi Singh and gain valuable insights and experiences with students and myself.

I continued my search within yogic practice and explored Hatha Yoga, with Pranayama cleansing techniques, which were taught by my dear teacher Dr. TiwaryJ from the Kaivalyadhama Yoga Institute Lonavla, India. At his side I also learned key Indian dishes in vegetarian Indian cooking with spices.
Yogic practices were answering my inner longing for a deeper and more truthful life. It brought me discipline, determination of action, surrendering degrees of ego, giving birth to a greater level of humility, focus and one pointedness. Yoga soon became my way of life.
Arriving at the end of my journey with some of these practices; it was after my last trip to India returning to NYC that I knew I had to explore the teachings of Light & Sound Doctrines introduced to me by a dear friend and taught by my (now) beloved teacher Sri Gary Olsen, Living Master of the Light and Sound Doctrine in America. As soon as I made this decision m
y life took a complete different turn for the best, the old sort of fell away and everything was changing FAST. I was ecstatic with the new life that was unfolding in front of my very eyes.
My physical yoga discipline took a new turn as well, and I no longer was drawn towards Kundalini Yoga and doing chanting meditations. I stumbled onto a new studio near my apartment and took my 1st Vinyasa Yoga Flow in 2001. Vinyasa yoga was gentle, moving from one Asana to another. There was a continuous flow of breath synchronized with
movement during class, which gave way for deep meditative, transforming
inner growth, at the same time experiencing a dynamic, reviving and
creative yoga style. I ended up taking classes from one of the best Vinyasa teacher I know in NYC; Lauren Hanna at Sonic Yoga Studio in Manhattan for about 5 years and eventually took Sonic's Yoga Alliance Registered School 200hr RYT certification and went on teaching.
