"Just wanted to say thank you.  I know it isn't possible, but it feels as though the last four classes have been just for me - exactly the right amount of challenge and releasing.  I do feel I've made some progress, though it may be just barely discernible.  I came in today pretty stressed and left feeling like I really can do all that I need to.
It must be about your one-year anniversary, and I'm so grateful for your classes.  Congratulations on your anniversary, whenever it is/was.  Your classes have made a definite difference in my life, and I hope you'll continue teaching in the east mountain area for a long time."

Vinyasa means to place with intention.   Using careful sequences of yoga postures and linking the breath to the movement, Vinyasa yoga flow creates a dynamic yet gentle workout at a moderate pace or faster pace for more advance classes with plenty of time to explore foundation postures and alignment, creating a balance between heat, strength, developing calm and stability in the body/mind.

Why practi
ce yoga? for many different reasons and most students who keep a yoga practice going is because it makes them feel really good and help them cope better with their own life.

Yoga can be
practiced by all; stiff, limber, young old. Most of us start out quiet stiff and as time passes we acquire more flexibility and eventually find ourselves in poses, such as Padmasana (lotus pose) or Urdhva Dhanurasana (wheel pose), which was hard to imagine to be possible to attain when we first start out yoga.

It is an individual practice that is best learned with a competent yoga instructor. If you have never done yoga before it is best to learn directly with a yoga teacher in a group class or through private instruction.

Yoga was originally taught from Guru to readied students. Only few were given the opportunity to learn this ancient spiritual science, it was a hidden practice taught to men only
, no women were allowed.

The science of yoga is not meant to be learned in books, from a DVD or on the net (unless you have years of experience with a teacher), but it is meant to be transferred via an experienced channel (teacher).

This is true for anything learned in life. If you look carefully you will see that anything you have learned thus far, you were introduce to by someone who was adept at his/her skill, you were somehow mentored into all that you do, your parents being first in tutoring and mentoring you.

Yoga will enhance your life like you never imagined.

Yoga is a wonderful practice for everyone. Applying  simple set of Asanas (yoga postures) meant to reshape & tone your body, help your internal organs detoxify and stay healthy, clarifying your mind & attention bringing focus and stability in your life by awakening your higher self within, and a truer you.

Practicing yoga starts a sure process of transformation, becoming more “in touch” and “at peace” within yourself.

With so many wonderful benefits yoga is readily integrated in one's life and for a lot of practitioners moving them deeply, bringing out a dormant side of them to the surface inspiring them to live a more vibrant, healthier, joyful life.

It usually touches one in ways that are uncommon in our western civilization and opens new horizons for each of us. This is why yoga is so widely spread amongst all walks of life today.

Yoga is unique and was developed about 5,000 years ago in India.

It was a practice used within Ayurveda alternative medicine treatment, which uses herbs & spices in food preparation, therapeutic massage with specific oils according to your Dosha, yoga Asanas, as well as meditation and specific mantras or kriyas.

Each of us has a unique pattern of energy (our blue print) – a combination of physical, mental, emotional and spiritual characteristics (also none as karma) – which comprises our own constitution. This constitution and unique pattern is determined by our own individual karma. With this understanding, the body is treated as a whole knowing that all within us is connected and yoga postures is only one aspect of the practice but still a very important one!

What is Kundun?
Kundun has a deep spiritual meaning and is not to be confused with Kundalini yoga.
Kundun means practicing the "Presence of a true Master" during the waking hours of one's day.

Being receptive to the intimate whisperings of one's chosen True Master (Sat Guru) through loving devotion and sweet anticipation of the commune with His essence. The devotee takes refuge in his Master's Love; developing an awareness of his continued presence.
